Qualifications & Approach

I am a Registered Member (number 383667) of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy https://www.bacp.co.uk/ and am bound by the BACP code of ethics.
I am the Data Controller for my practice and will store any personal details you share with me in accordance with GDPR regulations.
I hold a Diploma in Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counselling from the Metanoia Institute, and an MA in Contemporary Literature and Culture from London University. I have worked with adult survivors of sexual abuse and people struggling with ideas of suicide as well as supporting clients to overcome low self esteem, anxiety, and manage the pressures life brings to us all. Being a Humanistic Counsellor means that I draw on three main styles, or modalities, in my work with clients. These are: Person Centred; Transactional Analysis; and Gestalt. It further means that your autonomy lies at the heart of what we do together in your therapy sessions and as our relationship and work develops, we can explore what that really means for you.
